Marvatis is a Norwegian company building the applicant tracking system for maritime and offshore crewing, where certificates, availability and relief pools are part of every hire.
Crewing isn't office hiring
General recruitment software sees a job title and a CV. A crewing team needs to know whether a seafarer holds the right certificates on the day they sign on, whether they are home from their last rotation, and whether they have sailed on the right type of vessel.
Marvatis is built around those questions. Positions carry rank, vessel type and required certificates. Applications are checked automatically, and hired crew move into a relief pool that they keep up to date themselves.
We build it together with shipowners and operators in our founding partner programme, so the product follows how crewing actually works.
